I would consider this. I use it to play at home. You can connect it to the computer, iPhone or whatever you want.

I had already checked the MarkBass manual, as a matter of fact, but it is not clarifying on this point.

Mine is Fender Precision Player II, made in Ensenada, Mexico. Just couldn't be happier. I also tried a Fender American Professional II Precision and, honestly, it's not worth it for the price, I didn't notice a big difference between them.

Is it right to push gain all straight as long as it doesn't clip? I usually scoop the gain much more than the master and I'm not sure if that is okay. Does it affect to the sound? and if it does, in what way? Thnx in advance.

I use DR Sunbeams 45-105 Nickel-Plated Round Core on my P-Bass. These strings are handmade. Once you try them you won't want others.
