Well it makes a super clean, meaty, distortion sound. there is no background fuzz or any sound from the pick touching the strings or anything. just a super simplistic distortion.

Your probs right. But I'm just a beginner who plays an inexpensive bass, who found a sweet sound and wants to keep it when he switches to a better amp. I don't really have the money or the right roommates to buy loud equipment (As much as I would like to make everyone's bones disintegrate.)...

That sounds great. But the gt2 is like $100+ and a decent bass amp is also $100+ I was hoping that kind of setup would come in one package. Does such an amp exist? Or am I asking for too much?
