So is Larrys guitar tone on this 1970 live song done with a transistor Ampeg ? Larry played a Gibson ES335 on it. Nick St. Nicholas is the bass player on this.

I thought George Biondo used a SVT and Larry Byrom was said to use a Fender dual showman. Any idea what model Ampegs those are in the video ? I looked for Ampeg models from the late 60's to early 70's online but nothing looks like those. I'm curious about the amp tones on the studio albums from...

Even though I play bass I'm always the drummer in the band and leader. I dont care what kind of equipment the bass player or guitar player uses for rehearsal. Just bring your play out gear to the gigs.

I use 8 to power 16 12" mid range speakers in my PA. I have an Acoustic 220 and go line out to a 3500 in bridged mono to speaker cabs for transistor bass tone. The 3500 is bullet proof. They are difficult to find because people with them do not want to sell them. They have very strong bass.

Here it is. DR201 with 4-KT88 tubes. It is sitting on top of a DR201 with 6-EL34 tubes.

The DR201 is paid in full. Hopefully the carrier service will be very careful h bringing it to me. Yeeha ! Now I need one more 1970's DR201 with the 4 KT88 for my collection. I'm a hoarder.
