FWIW Nordstrand is also offering replacement pups for the Mustang now. I plan to get some and try them out soon.

had the same thing happen to me with a mustang bass. turns out it was the input jack not connecting just inside the bass. easy fix and never had another problem with it since. just had to squeeze the clip that is on the other side of the input jack so that it made a tight connection.

Still working on it. I have ordered a new maple neck with block inlays and a babicz bridge will post pics when completed. its my first project so we shall see..:help:

anybody have any tips on removing the pegs on an acoustic bass? I have a Vic Bailey i need to change the strings on.N one of the string winders/peg removers i have found will fit. any tips would be great, thanks in advance!
