That's weird, I've recorded hours and hours of playing since I got the bass and I usually favor the bridge pup. The single-coil hum is just barely audible solo'd (and I have no patience with noise on recordings). Certainly quiter than my vintage MIA Precision! Are you using tons of overdrive...
