I was actually just thinking that. I have the realbook and want to practice my sight reading, but its hard to get a feel for the songs if you've never heard em. Do you have any recommendations for places to hear these tunes?

I was in a local pawn shop today. I saw on the wall they had what looked to be a Hopf Saturn 69 Hollowbody bass. I didn't get a price on it but I was wondering if it would be a wise purchase? Looked like it was missing 2 strings and was a little beat up.

I saw the same bass, silver /w black pickguard at a pawn shop in town here. They were asking 400 for it. Almost grabbed it but I wanted a fretless so decided not too. Seemed like a real nice grab though
