I just acquired an ibanez sr405qm and if I turn the volume on the bass past 1/4 turn or so it just sounds awful. I've changed the battery about 3 times and I've looked at my connections and nothing seems out of the ordinary, could it be a bad pre-amp? Also when I turn the treble knob up it does...

Jimmy, how is the sound through the micro cabs with the v4b, how does it sound with just one vs two of them, I'm very close to getting this amp, and thought about getting one of the micro cabs and laying it horizontal for small gigs

Yea that's true, used is the way to go, it's just hard sometimes to find what your looking for, when it comes to buying new I really enjoy that payment plan that AMS has, I use that a good bit

Well I know this is mostly personal preference, but if you guys were gonna get a 4x10 cab and a head, what would it be, I don't mind buying used, and may have to, trying to stay around $600
