Not sure what your gripe is as it seems like a quality piece. As far as cheaper basses is concerned I’m not so sure I agree with that assessment as Maruszczyk and Kiesel also use it.

Totally understandable. I’ve gone three rounds with Covid and the last was the worst. It was one of the variants I’m fairly certain. The feeling of razor blades in my throat and the feeling of having been run over by a Mack truck was definitely the worst part.

I don’t see it as criticism and neither would Jon. He tries to put out a top notch product and likes to be aware of any QC issues. He hand builds everything so there’s always room for a mistake so he likes to know about anything that doesn’t hold up or isn’t right.

It had to grow on me too but all of my Felton basses play and sound so good that I forget what the headstock looks like. At least it’s not a Fender rehash.
