I think you’ve hit the nail in the head ... that is exactly what is happening.... the strings are not hitting the pick up poles ... if I just tap my fingernail on a string it does sound like a 22 ... the pickups on the Stingray are overly hot ... when I dial back the biamping on the tweeter it...

I will lower the pick ups and see what happens.... hopefully it will be that easy

Leaning towards the Super Bassman for sure

So I purchased a GK Neo 1x15 and a GK Neo 4x10 ... and I’m really undecided on what kind of amp head to use to power these 2 cabinets. My initial thought was a GK1001rb ll but now I don’t know ... I’m old school and I love the Fender Bassman and the Ampeg V4 need some pro advice

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1001rb with a 4x12 GK cab for extremely cheap it is in almost new condition ...i am new to GK stuff so any opinions from you pros out there, I'm somewhat of a beginner i do know about the head but not sure about the 12s for bass anyone use 12s ? ....thanks
