Thanks for all the help. 1 quick question, how do I throw away triads? (I just looked back on this thread and I can't believe I actually spelled cord, "chord". Tl;Dr I can't spell.

I have a broken (guitar/bass) chord, but I am not sure if it is safe to just put it in the trash. If anyone has any help, that would be greatly appreciated. If this isn't the right place to post, a mod can move it, I didn't know the correct place to put it.
