Mesa Subway 112 and 115 together

I picked up a second single 15 Subway cab. Brings my situation up to two single 15" and one 12" SW cabs. After playing through the combinations 1-15" + 1-12", both 15" together, and both 15" and th single 12" together I have come to the conclusion that they all sound great together. The thing...

Point me to the thread regarding Mesa Subway cabs and Neutrik connector issues

@agedhorse I understand the issue is NOT with Mesa gear, but I did remember the thread had that in the title.

    Cheap 12 cabs

Decided to get rid of my second Peavey headliner 112 cab. Keeping my other one as the perfect small cab for small gigs and rehearsing.

New MESA BOOGIE release - MESA/Boogie Bass 800D - 800W Bass Amp Head

use the higher gain setting. That's what it's for!

Impressed with the Mesa Subway 115 — now I’m debating my next move (poll inside)

I run the 12" and 15" with a WD800 and B800D heads, and I don't want much more. I can get plenty loud and the tone is fantastic. Don't get psyched out, play the cabs together and check them out.

New MESA BOOGIE release - MESA/Boogie Bass 800D - 800W Bass Amp Head

Played my first gig with the Bass 800D with Subway 12" and 15" as the cab setup. Using a P bass with flats I ended up with the settings as Low gain- 2.5 HP filter-Bass 6.5-Mids 7-High 5 and used the Deep on Bright off. On the gig I had to have the mids higher than at rehearsal to cut through...

Yeah, it's a strong control for sure

Mesa Subway 112 and 115 together

I did have the mid control at 2 (not 2 o'clock) on my Bass 800 D. Maybe it could be up a bit if I had two 15" cabs

Mesa Subway 112 and 115 together

Got a day playing with guitar and drums. I'm digging the 12 and 15 together. Cabs are very clear, and I'm able to get really good definition, thickness, and feel. I'm using the Bass 800D, and WD 800. Both sounding killer.

10”, 12”, 15”, which is your favorite to mic in the studio?

Every record I've ever made the mic channel is the dominant signal in the mix. Always a 15"

Did this guy invent tapping on bass? Anyone know who he is?

I don't enjoy modern taping but this sounds cool to me.

    WD800 vs Bass-800D

WD800 is not tame dude. It's incredible. Coming from someone who has both the WD and 800D.
