    What's your take on flats?

    Personally I play a thunderbird with rounds, and a Rickenbacker copy with flats which one I play depends on which songs we are doing. The ricci has a much softer warmer tone whereas the T-Bird is a balls ut rock bass.

    Only one Bass for me my Epiphone Thunderbird.

    Rickenbacker 4001 copies

    I play a Rick 4001 copy made in Japan which I bought new in 1978. It has the name "Diamond" on a Rick shaped nameplate, is finished in Fireglo, and I've always been happy with the sound I get. I have it on Fender smoothwounds. It cost me 650 Deutschmarks back then.

    How long have you had your "BEST BASS"?

    I love my Ricki 4001 Copy. I bought it new in 1978 for DM 650 here in Germany. Still goes with me on every gig.
