If it were me, I'd put it right..when you bought it you did so cos it was a thing of beauty (partly) - you stopped playing it cos it ceased to be - put it back into original condition and I bet you start playing it again..I bet all the good memories will come back and it could help with some...

Look at it this way...2 children will cost you £100,000+ each to get them to adolescence, through college/uni, then there's the cost of weddings, "dad, can I borrow..", car/ insurance/ tax, etc... then remember when you first had them..would you have sold them for a £1,000,000?? probably...
