I know this is probably a long shot, but I have a proton from the last batch with the red lettering on the black metal, but I’d really rather have this blue on silver one releasing tonight. If anyone snags one and they’d prefer the red, wanna trade? Hehe just thought I’d throw it out there

Hey Eric, I use a Minifooger Drive when I want something calmer than the Doom. I love it so much, it can be anywhere from a clean boost with a filter, to nasty drive tones

Also, side note, I just got a short scale bass with tape wounds, and it's interesting how differently it interacts with pedals compared to the roundwounds, especially octave pedals. When I blend in the clean tone the smoother tape sound combines differently with the octave than the round wounds...

the MKIII just came today and holy poopie, it sounds amazing I must say. It does sound slightly different than the MKII, and the range of sounds possible with the separate wet and dry volume knobs is much greater and more nuanced than the old mix knob. I am in love all over again hah

sweet thx. Ya I guess I'm just really on the lookout for the MKIII cuz the Doom 2 is on pre-order on the dealer's sites. I have to imagine that he'll do another run of MKIII's at some point though, so I'm not really too worried about it
