    Rumble 4x10 Versions?

Thank you all for chiming in! I think I need to do a deep dive on this whole topic so I can better understand everything. And the whole quoting in replies thing, as I've lurked forums for 15 years but only recently actually started posting. "G-Dog: Yes the 4 ohm Indo 410 cab is a Rumble V2...

    Rumble 4x10 Versions?

There have been some interesting developments. The guy confirmed there are actually 2 of these cabs, and he just wants the space. They were artist owned at that. Now I'm thinking of running the Rumble 800C + my 2x10 ext cab for the overdrive tone, and some other head into the two 4x10 cabs for a...

    Rumble 4x10 Versions?

Person #1 is selling an Indonesian Rumble 4x10 for just $125. Person #2 is selling a (newer?) Mexican made 4x10 for around $600. But what are the differences between the Indonesian made 410 vs the Mexican made 410? I can see the jacks are different, and obviously the ohms are different. The Indo...

    Rumble 800 (2x10) + 2x10 Ext cab AND Rumble 800HD + x2 of the 1x15 Ext cabs - Anyone try this?

Appreciated. I don't imagine it would hurt anything, other than sounding more distorted than one might want, perhaps in a bad way. I suppose this is why people typically use Active ABY boxes.

    Rumble 800 (2x10) + 2x10 Ext cab AND Rumble 800HD + x2 of the 1x15 Ext cabs - Anyone try this?

Interesting, and the fact that you're sending a line level signal out of the head into the OD doesn't cause any clipping? I will give it a shot!

    Rumble 800 (2x10) + 2x10 Ext cab AND Rumble 800HD + x2 of the 1x15 Ext cabs - Anyone try this?

How would you go about doing that? Send from the amp to the dirt pedal, then into the other amp? Won't that cause a level mismatch?

    Rumble 800 (2x10) + 2x10 Ext cab AND Rumble 800HD + x2 of the 1x15 Ext cabs - Anyone try this?

Hence why I said "Obviously this would be hilariously impractical for most, I am just curious..." There have in fact been shows I've played where I played through a second stack for increased volume without hitting the limiter of my 800. Why twice more? Because it's the next logical step...

    Rumble 800 (2x10) + 2x10 Ext cab AND Rumble 800HD + x2 of the 1x15 Ext cabs - Anyone try this?

I currently own a Rumble 800 Combo and the 2x10 ext cab and I LOVE it! I have considered purchasing a duplicate of this rig for essentially an 8x10 that is essentially split into 4 (2x10) lightweight cabs! However... I have also considered running an 800 Head into TWO separate 1x15 Rumble Cabs...

Extended range and low tuned bassists, tell me how you're amplifying your sound.

I misspoke when I said crossover, I was thinking of the HPF. Perhaps finding the harmonic around 40hz and above in relation to that super low E0 (or any similarly low note for that matter) and setting it there has helped. So far everything everyone has recommended in this thread has been...

Extended range and low tuned bassists, tell me how you're amplifying your sound.

Yeah, that's what I was saying about Meshuggah and the unison tuning. Basically what you're saying, the guitars and bass are in the same octave with that low E, but the tonality and cutoff points between the two are different, until the guitars go up to that Bb, while the bass goes down to it's...

Extended range and low tuned bassists, tell me how you're amplifying your sound.

If you play anything at or lower than a typical 5 string bass tuning, I'd love for you to tell me all about your rig. Presently I am more interested in hearing about amplification, cabinetry, pedals, and TOAN! Less interested in instrument setup. pickups, or string gauges. 1. Where do you play...

Is the Rumble 210 the wrong cab for a Rumble 800 Combo?

Absolutely, it's all been a learning experience and I've no reason to complain with how the Rumble keeps up with the rest of the band regardless of the genre or volume of the other players. I'm just thankful to have more time lately to experiment with this sort of thing on such a wonderful...

Is the Rumble 210 the wrong cab for a Rumble 800 Combo?

I think I'll just save up for another rumble stack, that way I can technically have a full 8x10 stack, broken down into 4 cabinets with the option to bi-amp down the road.

How do I get this tone? Finntroll

This band always has such a great mix. I stumbled upon your thread while looking for some advice on their sound, mainly guitar. I feel as though they have fairly common high quality gear, but whoever is engineering for them knows what they are doing. They have that magical balance between the...

Rick-o-Sound on a J Bass, what is needed?

That's a great idea, and I wouldn't mind building said box. I guess I just wanted to have the option of playing in standard mono mode for the sake of simplicity as I mostly record at home. But I will meditate on this idea! :)
