Is the Rumble 210 the wrong cab for a Rumble 800 Combo?

Brand new Rumble owner here. I recently bought the 210 cab to match my 800 Combo. I LOVE the tone, portability, and versatility. However...

The Rumble 800 combo has these Neo speakers to allow it to be lighter and I'm assuming to allow for the fact that the continuous or RMS power rating of the 800 Combo is higher than the 500 (not by much if I recall).

But the Rumble 210 cab that Fender recommends does NOT have these speakers.

I notice when playing through my Rumble 800 combo paired with Rumble 210 extension cab, the 210 ext cab front panel is visibly shaking more and working much harder than the combo. What am I missing? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to have released an updated version of this 210 cab with the same Neo drivers as the new 800 Combo? I am worried about blowing out this extension cab...

Actually, the Rumble 210 cab with the matching silver grille is currently the perfect cab to go with the new Rumble (non-Stage) 800 combo, and it will be, unless and until, Fender releases a Neo 210 cab!

Yeah, sure, the published specs say it's only good for 350W continuous and the 800 can put 400W into it. But, consider that is also the case with the Rumble Stage 800 combo, but Fender dressed up many of the exact same 210 cabs with black grilles to specifically match the Stage combo! So, obviously, Fender believes it can take it! So, I wouldn't worry a second about it. Punch it during the 2-year warranty period, when Fender will repair or replace it if there’s a problem.

Exactly as I feared and suspected. It's not so big of a deal after all, but I was thinking the same thing, push it now while it's under warranty to see if it becomes a problem. Thanks G-Dog!

I forgot to mention, the 210 cab has been pairing successfully with the Rumble Stage 800 since 2018 without any complaints I've heard of there. The Stage, just like the new 800 combo, is up to 400 watts alone and can put another 400 watts into an 8 ohm cab.

I think that an Orange OBC-112 (esthetically, go for the black one(s)), would work great.
Size-wise almost a perfect fit.
They only weigh 26 pounds.
And I think they are pretty efficient as well.
$550 new or look for 2nd hand.

I think I'll just save up for another rumble stack, that way I can technically have a full 8x10 stack, broken down into 4 cabinets with the option to bi-amp down the road.

This is a good example of a little common sense and reasonable expectations going a long way. It's a fairly small 210, there's only so much you are going to get out of it no matter how much power you put in.

Absolutely, it's all been a learning experience and I've no reason to complain with how the Rumble keeps up with the rest of the band regardless of the genre or volume of the other players. I'm just thankful to have more time lately to experiment with this sort of thing on such a wonderful amplifier after mostly playing through headphones the last few years.

I heard a decent recording of the Orange OBC-112, I would no longer recommend that cab.
It's not terrible, but there are better cabs for about the same money, like the RevSound RS112.
