Oh really!? I may definitely try that! The paint is supposed to have a.metallic finish which doesn't come through as clearly as I'd like it too!

We, the colour was custom made. It's royal Caribbean blue which actually isn't made anymore. I did buy a white pearloid pickguard for.it but it looked horrible. I really like the black and blue anyway. I think it just needs a good pair of pickups and a lower action.

I do have a cheap starter bass lying around. It would be perfect to practice on. If I were to get the proper paints and coats etc, my only concern would be how the hell I spin the body aroud to get an even yet random affect all over, including the sides and the back.

They were only like 50 of them made specially. I just really want that effect on my bass though and I can't tell if it's painted or what!
