    If you're going to switch the pickups, strings and bridge, why don't you save yourself the money and have a custom bass made by Warmoth? They make great parts.

    hipshot detuner for fender G string

    I have a 72 fender Jazz lefty neck that I use on a righty bass. I was wondering if anybody knows about a Hipshot style detuner for the G string. I'ld like to be able to adjust the E and the G. I see that Tony Franklin has something like it on his fretless Precision , but can't find any...

    Jazz bass patent sketch?

    I've been looking for the Jazz patent for quite a while. All resources have the sketch that you posted, listed as the Jazz. The information, dates, and obviously the sketch, all match that of the Precision. This patent was filed in 1960. It's very strange.
