I believe you need to 'finish' Warmoth necks some way, otherwise no warranty. There's a lot of ways to finish it that will make it look/feel unfinished.

It's changed a little over the years, but relatively flat, with just a hint of drive is my favourite. Sometimes I like that SVT sag, but I can do without it. A P or J or PJ FSO can do a lot with that sound by varying how and where you attack the strings.
