Ive got a Sr900 with factory Bartoloni active pickups that's puzzling me. The volume knob only works on the last 1/8 of a turn. The rest of the motion does nothing. I go from full on loud to 1/4 volume in a fraction of a turn. Is this just a bad pot? Or is this just the way actives work in general?

I recently purchased the Genz Benz 6.0 combo. This little box ROCKS! 31 pounds, 375 watts @ 8 ohms/600 at 4 ohms. I tried the Mark Bass 1 x 12 combo in GC and thought it sounded weak. The speaker was moving ALOT but the sound and thump just seemed lacking. I tried the Genz and was totaly blown...

I paid around $700 for mine used but flawless. Its a great bass for the money. Nice looking too. A steal at $300. Im a small frame guy (6 ft 165 lbs ) and the weight doesnt bother me at all.

Does anyone know where to find a cover for the Genz Benz 6.0 12" Combo?

Thanks agedhorse. I never saw any smoke, but I could smell the hot electrical smell. The amp never cut out. But I did have both volumes and the gain maxed out. But only for maybe 10 seconds max.
