I just connected my new Markbass New York 121 1x12 Bass Cabinet to my Markbass CMD121P combo amp using a Speakon cable. Nothing is coming out of the new cab! What am I missing?

Ok. However, how does one then attinuate the volumne of the bass live when performing without having to keep going to the bass amp to adjust the Master? If the volumne on the bass guitar is set to full then there is no room to move from the bass itself.
