It was my understanding that he only slapped on Peg. How did he get that percussive sound in certain parts of the song? BTW, did he just slap with no plucks on Peg? It almost sounds like he was using flatwounds.

Thanks for the feedback. I realized that after I viewed the video. Part of it is nerves and part of it is dexterity and coordination like you stated. I'm going to keep practicing this song until I can play it cleanly and smoothly. Thanks

What does it mean when a simile mark is above the measure of the staff? I know it means to repeat the previous measure when it's by itself within a measure of the staff, but I have sheet music that shows similes' above several measures that have notes in them..

Is this program better, worse, same as Band in Box and Real Band?

That's Russ Rodgers in that video. I have been taking lessons from him for almost 3 years now. Face to face for the first year, and Skype from then on. He is very good!

I received a Sire Marcus Miller T-Shirt and some chrome knobs today. I wasn't expecting any of it. Just showed up out of the blue. My bass came over a month ago.
