    Bassists who ride Motorcycles

Used to ride. Had a 2002 BMW R1150R. Loved that bike. Wasn't riding it much and someone gave me an offer in 2016 I couldn't pass up.

NBD: Fender American Vintage II 1960 P Bass

Seems to be pretty good. Can't really tell how thick or thin it is but the finish looks fantastic.

NBD: Fender American Vintage II 1960 P Bass

It came with Fender 7250M nickle rounds. I have some LaBella 0760M flats to throw on it. That 1954 looks sweet. I've got one of the 2006 MiJ '51 reissues in butterscotch that I just love.

NBD: Fender American Vintage II 1960 P Bass

Haven't run it through its paces as I'm still healing from rotator cuff surgery but this thing feels great. Played it a little and it sounds fantastic.

NBD: 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 with questions for the experts (Pic heavy!)

A 4001 was my first great bass I played. I miss that thing. I want to say it was an '81 but I can't remember.

I've had this 67 Gibson EB-2C since the mid 90's now. Love this bass.

Getting ahead of myself looking at amps

I went with a used PF-800 I found on here and got a 115 cabinet to go with it. Plenty loud. Going to add a 210 to it eventually. No issue going with that suggestion though.

So the DI, something like the Peavey IPR2 2000 and whatever cabs I want?

Getting ahead of myself looking at amps

Seems like I'm floating in different directions every time the wind blows. Since I really like the Ampeg B-100R I might plan on stick with Ampeg and get the PF-500. Thinking of pairing it with a PF-410HLF for now.

Getting ahead of myself looking at amps

Went by a shop today and tried out a used SVT-3 Pro. Combined with either GK CX-410 or a HK 410MBE. The front of the MBE kind of rattled so I didn't care for that. The price is nice, rig would be just under $1000.

Gallien Krueger Club. GK Rules !

Yeah, that is one of the things that intrigues me about the MB212. I do have a SUV that can easily move the 410.
