    Yup, 2 batteries, 18v preamp. it's a 2008. you're telling me that's a mid boost I'm hearing? because it certainly gets crunchier.

    drive knob is on the back, last knob under the bridge. In order from neck to bridge its volume, pan, treb/bass eq, drive. The drive knob definitely gives a clean boost, even overdrives it somewhat. Trying to dig up some specs on the regular ADS P's.

    I bought this used P-Bass, looked up its serial and found it to be an American Deluxe Series P-bass. I did a bit more research and couldn't find any American Deluxe P's with a drive knob. Mine does. Does anyone know what the hell I bought?
