It´s not that the ventilation is bad on the head. If you take f.ex. Vox AC30 combo amp it got way worse ventilation, all closed in and driven like it was stolen. The V-Type on the other hand is open to the back and top. Anyone who has unplugged the fan?

Ok, here is a dumb one. Is the fan necessary? Maybe if you are driving the input preamp hard and loud but if you´re just cruising?

Ok, the gig is over and it´s save to say the V-Type performed like a champ. The DI had no issues or hizz/hum. Can´t believe my luck crossing path with this amp. But that´s no news to you bunch :)

Has anyone tried the V-Type 4x12" cab with a Marshall gtr head? :D I got a head but the Marshall cab that goes with it blows. Going to try it.
