    Great questions. I love funk/soul/R&B. I’m not sure where this takes me. I would love to play gigs one day of course. I’m an older beginner(49), and hearing is important, sure. I bought a 50w amp the VOX BA50 and was looking at the GK MB112 as well Any advice would be awesome

    Grabbed the VOX BA50 for a practice amp that I could take anywhere and was thinking of grabbing the GK MB112 combo for home Eventually would love a head/cab set up but watching $ Advice is welcome

    Yes, first one. Always been drawn to the instrument but never pulled trigger. Love the P Bass sound and this bass seemed to be best fit for me

    Just ordered my first bass and super excited. Ordered from Sweetwater a Lakland 44-64 Custom(what used to be the Duck Dunn model). When it comes in I’ll post pics Also signed up for the annual membership over at scottsbasslessons, so pretty excited about that too
