Well I ordered the 215 cab and they're out of stock, I'm still waiting on the tt800 foot switch and hoodies lol. Hopefully I'll get them sometime in April and compare the speakers, definitely will use the 215 for gigs. Thanks for the heads-up

If the bass has good string action and plays okay go for the amp, if the bass is really bad off as far as playability (string action horrific) go for the amp.

So would running 2 215 cabs at 2 ohm on the tt800 be hard on any of the gear?

First off, thanks for the TT800, it's way more than I expected, not disappointed at all. Yes sir the 118 is 4 ohm, I pulled it and checked, ohm'd the wires and all, (I'm careful with this head, it's my baby ). Second, I'm thinking the 2 215 set up would be on par with the big fat clear bass...
