    Subway cabs any good?

When I first got the tt800 I plugged it into the the 610 first and was like yeah, this is good. Then I started playing around with different cabs and plugged my old bass cab in the 118 and was like ooh yeah. Had to turn the volume down, great sound. Maybe something is wrong with the 610 don't...

    Subway cabs any good?

To tell you the truth, I feel more air from the 118, but the 215 seems to have the same thud, for lack of a better term. The BW aluminum cone seems brighter up top, again for a lack of a better term, but not by much. I think it's a good substitute for an 18. I mean why do most pa systems run...

    Subway cabs any good?

Well I received 215. I noticed that the wheels should be spaced further apart for more stability. Not a deal breaker. I plugged it in and compared it to the 118. Both cabs are on the same level of volume. Both cabs have the same lows, the 118 has more highs than the 215 but only by a little...

    Subway cabs any good?

That was my first thought about the blocking of the canal, getting parts and supplies delayed, (Britain?) I'm definitely not canceling my orders, just gonna have to wait. I'll assume you guys are up to your necks in orders with limited supplies, I'm letting you know I'm not griping I understand...

    Subway cabs any good?

Well I ordered the 215 cab and they're out of stock, I'm still waiting on the tt800 foot switch and hoodies lol. Hopefully I'll get them sometime in April and compare the speakers, definitely will use the 215 for gigs. Thanks for the heads-up

The reason for the 2 cabs is for outdoor venues we often play. I would only take one cab for indoor events, really like the ability to be able to be able to be heard outside and throttle down indoors. We've been playing for years and opened up for some semi pro bands at outdoor events quite...

Which would you upgrade first? An amp or a bass?

If the bass has good string action and plays okay go for the amp, if the bass is really bad off as far as playability (string action horrific) go for the amp.

So would running 2 215 cabs at 2 ohm on the tt800 be hard on any of the gear?

First off, thanks for the TT800, it's way more than I expected, not disappointed at all. Yes sir the 118 is 4 ohm, I pulled it and checked, ohm'd the wires and all, (I'm careful with this head, it's my baby ). Second, I'm thinking the 2 215 set up would be on par with the big fat clear bass...

Man I've tried every combo head imaginable, I'm not disappointed at all. I've always heard mesa cabs are awesome, heard them at shows for years but never had one behind me. You're correct about the 15 releasing sooner than the 10, so does the 18 release it before the 15? More for stage monitor...

    Subway cabs any good?

I hear ya. I played last Friday after getting the amp in Wednesday and sound checking the 610 volume at 9. Hooked up the the 118 and dropped to 6 or 7 . Never has the 118 sounded that good. Ran the 610 on the guitar side. Every amp I've had just seemed to be drowned out. Planning on the 215 and...

    Subway cabs any good?

I've played my first gig in Dallas with the ampeg svt2pro, and the peavey 118 and 1810. Never has the 118 sound so good, every amp I set on left me feeling like it was a pos. I've played through swr, ampeg, custom, fender, even pa systems and its amazing how good the 18 is withthe boogieamp. So...

Well the 18 plays so much louder I turn down after running the svt610. It's way cleaner, fuller, cleaner, only thing It's missing is the monstrously powerful to an extent
