I really enjoy the feel of the tapewounds as well, it's my first set ever. I've been exclusively playing TI flats for the past 12 years, and while the TIs have more zing and high end than some other flats the D'Addario tapewounds have even more, and I'm not sure I like that. Just to refresh this thread, I placed an order for the D'Addario ETB92S nylons for my Mustang PJ, should be here in time for the informal retirement party gig I'm playing. I'll report back with my thoughts/findings.

Joining the club!! Purchased the 500 v3 combo about 8 hours ago. It's almost 2:30am right now if that's any indication how much I like it. I also picked up the new Mustang PJ. Auditioning for a band in less than 12 hours, taking both of them. I've had the same bass rig for [gulp] 18 years...
