Yeah, I do like the tone of the pr410, but I never heard a mesa diesel 2x15. Wouldn't the 15's make my lower end tighter? Oh, and if it makes any difference, I'm mainly going to use a 4 string, but not all the time. And is an 810e louder than two ampeg pr410hlf? Thank you guys!

BUMP Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I just found someone who is selling a pr410hlf for a good price, AND it's near my place. SO Should I get the 410 or wait this one out and try an look for a Mesa Boogie 2x15?? Please, someone help!! :) Thanks!

bump So will my 4 ohm 410 plus a 4 ohm 2x15 be ok with an svt4-pro?? I read the faqs on ohms and stuff and it seems to me that it would be ok?? I just need verification. Also am I losing and volume or tone?? Would I have to turn the volume down to play live??

so my ported 410 is louder?? 0_0 Well I know that my 410 is rated @ 4 ohms and I think that the other 410 is rated @ 8 ohms. I still never really 100% understood the difference between the ohms, but I'm thinking that the 4 ohm can push the amp louder than an 8 ohm correct??

oh, ok. But when you said "phasing issues" what do you mean by that? And why don't you think the 410 won't work with others? Sorry if I'm asking a bunch of questions, I just want to learn some stuff.
