me? no, i didn't say that. a standard 215 and a 410 will be about equal in the loudness department. one might be slightly louder than the other given the design variables, but for all intents and purposes they're usually in the same ballpark.

So will my 4 ohm 410 plus a 4 ohm 2x15 be ok with an svt4-pro?? I read the faqs on ohms and stuff and it seems to me that it would be ok?? I just need verification. Also am I losing and volume or tone?? Would I have to turn the volume down to play live??

yes, it would be ok. run each side separately and plug one cab into each. you would about double your volume capabilities though i don't know what it will do to your tone. and yes, there is a distinct possibility that you will be asked to turn down a lot, but that will probably happen with only one cab, too.

your 410 is a tiny bit quieter than the sealed 410 with the same amount of wattage going into it because it's ported to go deeper, but your amp will put out twice the wattage with the ported 410 because it's 4 ohms. but that really doesn't matter. both cabs will get plenty loud. but i wouldn't mix them either.

You say that the hlf will go lower and deeper then the 2x15's but isn't it true the the 15's will have higher headroom for low end..?? Like if i start cranking the lows from an effects pedal or my amp, the 10's will fart out a lot before the 15's do...?? So wouldn't cranking the amp also crank the lows and the mids and the highs which the 15's can handle whilst the 10's would fart..??

not necessarily. hlf has some pretty tough speakers.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I just found someone who is selling a pr410hlf for a good price, AND it's near my place. SO Should I get the 410 or wait this one out and try an look for a Mesa Boogie 2x15?? Please, someone help!! :)
