It's important to play a decent bass with an excellent setup and a good amp who delivers the right amount of volume to play with other musicians.

I prefer not to messing around with a phone. I own a Windows Phone 8.1, with no support for that kind of things, and an iPad Air with low storage capacity. Also I prefer an SD storage in order to drop it on a PC after recordings. Thank you

A passive Stingray sounds exactly like a 3 band eq one when it's flat. You can hear it taking out the battery.

You should really trust this guy in order to let him try to fix a warped neck. You can't really tell if it will last 1 month or 10 years. If cost is not an issue, for 300-450 dollars, you can have an handmade neck as you like it. Anyway if you prefere genuine Fender parts, go for a post 2008...

Different neck, different bass. You should definitely try an Am Std or a Highway One before you make any decision. Maybe you like those necks more, or maybe you don't like them at all. Also, how much money to fix the neck and how much for a new one?

I have not really noticed any difference between BA and stock bridge. To me it isn't a matter of taste, it's psychoacoustics.
