yea bogeybass, i should have worded that better, it is going into protection mode. as soon as i begin to turn up my volume, of course thats when the clipping begins then i begin to smell the "heat" coming from my amp and shortly after, off and seconds later, back on. and b-string 2, let me...

yea i have it on protect mode b-string 2, and no lowfreq33 im running my speaker from channel one only.

i have recently purchased a bmax pre-amp and have a crown xls1500 running an enclosure wtih a 15" 600watt 4ohm carvin speaker. it worked fantastic for a few gigs but a month later it seems like i have to raise the volume a bit more. my gain on the bmax was at 5 and my volume knob between 2 and...

and as far as the 410 cab being ported or sealed? i tried looking for a TB thread on this but i had no luck. thats the only reason i wanted to mix speaker sizes, cuz i want the punchy bass but a nice low end as well...

im looking to get a 410cab to get some punch outta my sound.i have a carvin 15" in a front,but side ported cab already but i lack "the punch". can any one make some recommendations please? or can it be possible to just get a 210 cab for that matter? please help :confused:

thanks! ...so once i getmy basspreamp i should be good to go then?.... and shuld i run my amp bridged at 1570 watts @4ohms for my 15cab-600watt @4ohms? or do i run it with 1 channel at 575 watts?

hi all, i got a question, i decided to go with a poweramp, bass preamp instead of a pre-made bass head. i havent got my bass preamp yet but i got my poweramp (575 watts per channel@4 ohms and bridged-1570 watts at 4ohms.) and plugged it to my 15" cab. the 15 is a carvin 600watt driver at 4ohms...

geez thats horrible...y would peavey advertise their tnt like that.... well i was hopingto have an amp by the end of this week but i guess the search continues :(

I actually tried lookin around for a used amp head...but sadly around my area everything is basicly garbage at bogus prices...but i am continuing my search, thanks for the advice.

not my only choice yet...just not sure what i should do ... but i appreciate the advice :)
