My current rig (KXB500 head through 2x Genzler BA12-3 STR's) has no onboard distortion. I not only miss my drive, but I'd like more versatility with gain staging than a single footswitch would offer me. However, I only want one pedal to worry about having to plug in. So I'm looking for one...

That looks like a really quality instrument, but it seems a little... idk, it's got the design signature of ESP, which is, metal. All glossy and modern looking. I feel like I'd want something a little more vintage-looking? I know, it's a dumb gripe. But thank you! I didn't even know those...
