Thanks . No experience with legend , but I have a Spector NS 2A and it's great. Also a korea Danelectro 12str , which is a breeze to play on . So for me Korea stuff has a good track record

    Spector NS-2A Truss rod

It is not a USA Spector, yes, Spector Kramer era. My first thought was it must be metric, but I have a load of metric nuts -and they didn't fit. The Gibson nut went on nice - nice fit. The old nut was - well somebody didn't have the right tool . Threads on TR are fine though.

    Spector NS-2A Truss rod

And the total length of TR including the brass "anchor" is 630mm or 24,8"

    Spector NS-2A Truss rod

Trying to find a new nut for my truss rod or maybe a new truss rod . Does anyone know of a truss rod brand that will work on the NS 2-A ? Or can one just use any single action TR, as long as it is the right length and fits in the slot ? The original truss rod works fine ,but the nut is beat. .It...

    The Fretless Club (Part IV)

NBD . I've had fun on my fretless Rock bass Streamer 4 about a year now. Bought just to see what the fretless bass was all about. It's been great. So now I took another leap. Might have gone off to the deep end with my skills. Anyway , here she is. 2003 FNA 5

    Warwick Truss rods ???

Thanks! Don't think I want another post 96 then. Once bitten, twice shy ...... Thought maybe Warwick had sorted a flaw like that out, on the newer basses.

    Warwick Truss rods ???

I see the Warwick user manual has a section about various necks and truss rods (I knew I'd seen it some where). I covers -sort of - 80's ,90's and on , but not very specific about 2000 and on. Seems like NT basses have the kind that can be changed,

    Warwick Truss rods ???

No , wouldn't do that. I hear that some of these 90's wenge BO necks have truss rods that break -big job, that's probably why I hear about it. I think maybe when they went to that other type of wood in the 2000's they got a removable truss rod. Could your pull yours (NT) right out ?

    Warwick Truss rods ???

I'm thinking of getting a new, eh used , Warwick. But I'd like to get one that has a truss rod ,that can be changed without having to take the fretboard off. Can some one point out which of them to stay away from ? Or which have an easy to change truss rod? I'm looking at years 1990-2010 One...

    Heaviest Bass You've Ever Owned?

90's MIJ Fender 75 (?) RI jazz bass .Sold it. Come to think of it I have a 90's Warwick Corvette 4 std (Wenge/Bubinga) in it's case- in the basement. That one is also heavy as hell , but it might be the best sounding bass I have.

NBD Warwick RB Streamer Fretless 4 (2009)

8 mouths on , it's holding up great , and sounds good to me. I find I often pick the bass track(s) with the fretless ,when I am fooling around with Garageband. Ive been looking at adds for a German W fretless , but the reality is - This one is suits my needs . Oh! and the pot that didn't do...

    1998 Warwick Corvette -truss rod

I might take the nut off and start looking in to it , but I think this is one of those necks where the fretboard has to come off to replace. Dam shame , shouldn't break when your playing it. . Maybe Warwick will get back to me.

    1998 Warwick Corvette -truss rod

Well , this has been a very solid bass , and normally stays very well in tune. I have adjusted the on action it before. I loosen the strings a bitt , and have my son "help" straiten the neck , when I tighten the up the action. Even then there has been some tensjon on the nut. But now it was just...
