    I've just received a mail with the version 2 update! Can't wait to try it out :) According to the website, all new pedals will ship with the update from now onwards. Apparently some users have had problems with applying the update from their Macs, so the Boomerang guys are recommending upgrading...

    The boomerang website now says that the version 2 update (sync + free playing) will be out in June this year: see link. I'll be getting my hands on the 'rang III in a couple of days :bassist:, looking forward to it!

    Peavey Cirrus 5

    I also feel that the top of this bass is Redwood. Found a pic of a Cirrus Bass with a Koa top here The top of your bass looks quite similar to this Redwood.

    Fletch and Cutty, Did you try out the other Cirrus options before settling on your respective Redwoods? On another thread, someone had mentioned that the Redwood sounds thinner than the other options - did you notice that? (Yeah, suffering a pretty severe case of G.A.S here ;-) )

    Replacement for damaged Ampeg B-100R speaker

    All, The speaker of my beloved Ampeg B-100R is badly damaged, and I'm looking for a replacement. The speaker is 15inches, and is rated at 150W , 4 ohms. I've not been able to find speakers with that spec online - any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
