No, I had two sets last year and the coating came off both within a couple of hours of playing. I play fingerstyle, and play very, very lightly. In the UK they're almost £50, that's around $75 !

Hi I attended one of Michael's masterclasses last year in Sligo, Ireland. And I saw him perfom live that night in a really cool bar. He was using a Boss GT3 multi effects unit, and the sounds that he got were amazing. I figure that he's spent ages tweeking the sounds to get them sounding...

Isn't the CD 'enhanced' ? Mine is and I'm sure that it has all the details of the recording including the tunings.

I'm after an effects unit that does looping. I saw Michael Manring recently and he was using one of these units, and it sounded really nice.
