I've played one of the newer heads through a couple emperors, briefly, and I thought it sounded like mud. Some people like that, I know, but it wasn't for me at all and I was quickly over it. I'm currently playing an Acoustic 450 and a Sunn 2000s, if that's any frame of reference. Good luck...

Over the last 3 days I've acquired a new Sunn rig. The cabs are matching 1x18"s and the head is a 2000s. Total rig height is 6'3". Yeah... it sounds as big as it looks. (that's an Acoustic 2x15 next to it). Thanks to TBer JoshuaTSP for the head.
