I recently played in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar. I’ve been listening to that show since I was young. What a fun score to play. My favorite bass lines to play were “Simon Zealotes” and “Heaven on their Minds.”

My pedal set up is pretty simple: polytune 3 mini -> tech21 VT bass deluxe --> TC sub n' up (octaver). I had been playing this through an old, basic daisy chained 1spot. I got the Joe Dart Stingray and played it in a gig for the first time last night. What I thought was chafing from dry winter weather, I now believe is because the frets extend a bit beyond the width of the neck. As my fretting hand moves up and down the neck, it's chafing my skin pretty badly...

Super weird. I double checked and all I have is this hex wrench which is too big to fit into anything I see on the outside. I haven't opened the plates on the back (and those require a philips head screwdriver to open). I'll be emailing Music Man support tonight

Glad I asked! I'll have to dig back into the box to see what else I can find. Can you post photos of both? Or give rough sizes?

While unpacking I found a small hex wrench taped to the cardboard. I assume this is to adjust the truss rod. Was there anything else in the box other than this and the bass itself?
