I got this bass today and I think its a fender body with a 2010 MIK squier neck on it. But I have never seen a bridge like this and I can't find one like it on the web.

I am going to refinish this p bass body. Then rebuild it like a parts bass. But I don't know what kind of wood the body is? I thought it could be ash but when I looked at ash bodies online now I'm thinking it could be something else. Any ideas guys?

Well tonight I put my old Squier affinity Pbass neck on the Hondo bass and it FIT!!! I like it a lot better its a nice thin neck. The maple Hondo 2 neck is up for grabs if anyone wants it.
