No, he was serious about the EMG Hz not being compatible with tube amps. I basically assumed he was mistaken, but not positive about it. That's why I referred the question to you guys here. Thanks for the solid info guys.

Are person told me my EMG Hz pickups wouldn't work correctly using a tube powered bass amp. Thanks for clearing that up for me KbD.
