    I failed it up live...

In addition to that, if you're in a jam-happy band, you will thank everything that you know and love when you're able to recover, "That one BAD ASS thing we played last month" that no one remembers.

You know you´re obsessed with bass when...

When you knick your flavor or the month against something hard enough to leave a scratch, and then physically feel like you fell down stairs.

    Newest project- Under New Management

Looong time no see TB, I've been out of commission and generally on the run. I've been in a musical dry spell for over a year until a couple of weeks ago. What was supposed to be a 4/5 piece jam dropped to a simple 3. I've never had a trio before and the sheer brilliance of it is astounding...

Sam Ash wouldn't take my money!!!!!

Was there a wall of strings where the cash register was? Perhaps they thought you were taking forever to decide on a pair of strings and you would flag them down if you wanted some. Just a thought.

    Explain this...win a prize!

Oh man guys, I can feel the love, and I can tell you, I dig it. I dig it good. I had a lot of fun with that one. You can be pretty creative when your eyes are rolling in the back of your head after a 20 hour day.

    Gigs gone right...

That is a hell of a compliment! I'm glad that you were able to have some fun and spread your joy among the others. I will edit this post later with a story. Good job man.

    Explain this...win a prize!

One stormy evening, a lonely guitarist sat alone in the garage, dejected that the rhythm section bailed on him after his 40 minute power solo, complete with pedal-feedback-double-tapping-stairway-to-eruption passages. His head was hung low. After the bassist left, disgusted at his...

    Knuckle cracking

Popping my fingers, toes, knees, ankles, shoulders, sometimes elbows, a chronic neck cracker (Oh lawdy does it feel fantastic). Then, my hip pops. It feels like a shotgun of relaxation is shot into my body every time I pop my hip. Loud as hell too. I'm glad to hear that it's not degenerative...

Keeping a power balance in a newly formed band?

When I joined my first band, the leader came up to me, and said, "You're in. But the moment you think you're important, you're out." I thought it was a brilliant quote. We're all important, but none more-so than eachother. It's a shame that college and military broke us up.

    jealous girlfriend! (rant)

What if she tried out and then didn't get the gig and forever blames it on the attractiveness of the other female singer, instead of skill. Hope it doesn't happen. (Knock on wood) The entire dynamic of people being threatened in a relationship has always been very frustrating to me. Ah...

    band name

Slam World of the Fatty Crew is a fantastic one, sounds like a bunch of old fat dudes rapping. Also on slam is, Slam Caustic and The Toxic, which is sort of catchy to me. Grand Climax might be a good one, but it sounds pompous. Tons of these can be awesome concept album names, or song...

Using the shop made thickness sander, on video!

I enjoy watching your videos a lot, but at the same time I feel frustrated that you don't talk with more autholrity or depth in your voice. Understandably you're a little distracted, but I feel like it could be much better if you spoke more clearly. But always, the work is great.

How to become a session bassplayer?

My ignorant and completely inexperienced self would suggest do exactly what you did, except get paid next time. Have the sound guy suggest you out to other bands who may need you. Advirtise yourself as a session musician and go on from there.

    band name

Mirrorflux is apparently not used by anything in the world. The only google it has is me talking about it, and all variations of it don't exist in the patent office. If you don't want it, I just might take it. That site is fantastic! I've been laughing at it for two hours now.

    band name

Mirrorflux is the first thing that came to my mind. I (now referred to as, Party A) demand a 90% royalty charge or otherwise a $100 minimum (whichever is higher) whenever the name is mentioned or payment to any one of the four band members (Now referred to as Party B.) has been completed...
