I got a question: why does my vintage EB-3 got a natural finish headstock? was that for real? I got that from a friend who happens to live in bahrain then was given to him by a friend from US. wierd headstock.

yeah this happened to me last week, I came from work so i asked a friend to lend me a bass on our gig coz we were in the same line-up then i have his P-bass on stage, tuned the E string to a low C# then during our set, the nut is loosing the string, it pops out every second! can't get a stage...

you got a point in there sir, my problem is just to refret it, i'll find someone who does. the alignment of the neck is good (thanks to my dad). i was looking for a natural finish of the head, couldn't find it online, all were in black gloss finish, i believe mine was made during the 60's...
