    thank you for clarifying the pot situation. i have researched the caps, but im still not decided on how i want it to sound. is it possible to find all these parts at guitar center?

    i need information about pots and capacitors. i seen pots on guitarcenters site, but they are not labeled "volume" or "tone". do they make a difference? and what about capacitors, can i just get those from radioshack? what should i look for when buying these?

    With alot of searching, i found a diagram. i think im gonna remove the preamp cause the wires all messed up. i just have a couple questions about pots. what should i look for? how much would hey cost? and are there differences between volume and tone pots?

    for a peavey axcelerator 2.t. i got off this one guy, but it needs wiring.. they tried to fix it, but the wires are all disconnected. so can someone show me a diagram or a wiring diagram of a bass with active soapbar pickups and a preamp. any information is appreciated.
