Hello FunkyMan, have you tried one of the Squier vintage modified jazz basses ? i played one today and i'm very impressed, they should be easy to get here in Venezuela. :hmm:

I own a Yamaha RBX-374, its a great bass, the build quality its excellent, a nice bass for hard rock or metal styles, not for funk or jazz, the bass lacks mids and low mids, and only have controls for bass boost and treble, if thats your music styles it would be a great choice over the squiers.
