    I have never said that the RBX170 is bad, I said that it isn't enough :D Quite sure it could work as a slap bass but when you can't slap you can't. I've now saving money for a P Bass - Thanks for the replies :D You can still make suggestions, maybe I'll change my mind - who knows? :bassist:

    About 100-800~ €. Yep, you can't get much for it, but I got this Yamaha for 150€, so it's kind of a big difference. I have thought about 5-strings but I'm kind of unsure if I can manage with the extra string. I also have thought about the P Bass and it seems to be my best bet. Let's see what...

    So I'm not the only one? ;D I don't feel lonely but I kind of envy guitarists as they get to play all the cool licks and solos. However a bass solo done right might be even better than its guitar counterpart :D
