A bit of a possibly silly question, but do the electronics ever turn off if they're active? I just wondered, since if they do turn off when you take the lead out or something, it'd massively help to save the batteries.

Damn double thumbing's hard. I find half the time I either hit too much of the string so my thumb doesn't go through to the string below, or that I just completely miss it altogether! any advice on how to improve consistency?

If you just want something to do with your hands whilst sitting behind a table, do what i did when bored in class for a week and learn to roll a coin across your nuckles (there're video's on youtube showing how).
