All Fender Jazz basses I own or have played have a severe neck dive when sitting down without being strapped. That's one of the reasons I prefer by far the p-bass when practicing.

The pickups that came in that bass are actually the Custom '59 Split Single-coil pickups and are not for sale directly by Fender.

Great demo! I wouldn't say that one sounds better than the other. The rosewood is warmer, of course, and it doesn't have the maple snap. They just sound, well... different, two flavours of a great tone! :thumbsup:

Good to hear it. I may then cut them at my liking and reinstall them one by one. Meanwhile, I already have a four string set to drop on my 2011 60th Anniversary P-Bass, replacing the actual La Bella 760FL. I think they are that good! :)

Does everybody cut them on installing? I've read somewhere that these strings are not to be cut.
