Less snark, more pictures! Got my new solo rig all together. Only bad part is I won't get a chance to play it, or the squire bass vi I also ordered till tomorrow. Ah well, just another day!

Just ordered a pair of new Rumble 115 cabs from MF. Seems like a great deal that works out to about $215 per cab.

Now just waiting for the brown truck.
I was very fortunate to get my demo 115 from a local mom and pop store for $118.50. The listed it on eBay with only a local pickup and I won the auction. Still can't believe I got it for so little.

I see you have the input split before you get to the amps. That means you have to do EQ and volume twice. If you run your board into the input of one amp, then use the effects out on that amp to run to the effects in on the other, you will only need to do it on the first amp. The pre on the first amp will be feeding both power sections.

I'm running two amps for stereo sound out of the strymon pedals, wouldn't running from one preamp to the effects loop of the other kill that effect? I don't mind having to set the eqs the same, and if I need to make a quick volume adjustment on the fly I can always use the volume pot on my comp pedal.

Okay, I'm not familiar with that pedal. Does it split the signal? Are there different EQs for the two signals? For a while in the 70s I played a Ric and run one signal through a V4B/8x10 and the other through a twin. It isn't really stereo because there is only one sound source, but it did give some interesting effects.

Yeah, the modulation, delay and reverb effects will pan depending on how you have them set and it really adds a lot more to the sound when playing solo.

Gravedigger,

I've been lurking here too long. I need a number. Here's my Rumble V3 100 in my "Conservatory" in Alabama. The Conservatory is dedicated to music and single malt Scotch enjoyment.

I also have a practice V3 40 sitting in New Jersey for trips to the corporate office there.

Welcome Rumbler #737. I have a 100. It is a great little amp. I use it rehearsal and when we have FOH support for stage volume. Rumble on!
