Hey guys, I realize I should have asked this earlier, but here we are. I'm in there middle of making my bridges for my Cepheid 5 bass and need the dimensions for standard ball ends (I'm mostly a guitar guy). I'm particularly interested in that of a low B. Inner and outer diameter and ball thickness would be great. Thanks!

Ball end dimensions

The ball ends on electric bass strings are standard for all string sizes, as far as I know.
OD: 0.245" ID: 0.126" Width: 0.182" There's a small bevel around the two outer faces.
You can use a 1/4" end mill to make a pocket for the ball end to slip sideways into. Or, it will slip over a 1/8" steel dowel pin. If you are making a tailpiece where the string feeds through, the large hole that surrounds the ball end should be 3/8". The small hole that the string goes through should be 3/16" for any strings up to a B. For string gauges larger than a B, the through hole may need to be as large as 7/32".
