    Mossberg J.I.C. shotgun

    It will be fine if you don't have the hands of a ten year old girl. That being said, I keep a shoulder stock on mine, because I like aiming. The Mossberg 500 is very reliable. Very easy to repair as well. The most repairing mine has ever needed was really just a thorough cleaning.

    "slappable" flats

    I've had no issues slapping Chromes on my J. I crank the tone and bridge pickup knobs all the way back up, normally they're zero'd. Sounds fine to me.
